Hello. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker. I offer psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and existential coaching services from my downtown Toronto office as well as remotely (i.e. by phone). Areas of focus for psychotherapy include the following: anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, identity issues. My approach to therapy is primarily psychoanalytic: together, we analyze unconscious patterns and processes as seen through life history, free associations, symptoms, and dreams in order to develop an understanding of current issues which may lead to reduction in symptoms as well as better coping and resilience. Areas of focus for existential coaching include exploring possibilities for increased happiness through examining available freedoms and choices in lifestyle decisions (career, relationships, pursuit of passions, etc.). To learn more about my services, please feel free to visit my website at www.loriralko.com. Please note that psychotherapy services may be covered through your workplace extended health benefits plan and are considered eligible medical expenses for tax purposes with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
